Optical Fiber Network

Our network is 100% end-to-end optical fiber, with All Wave single-mode construction. We meet the ITU-T G652d standard.

We offer high availability guaranteed by three main channeled networks and ring topology for added security and reliable service.

Our networks comply with national and international standards on design, construction and layout.

All sections of fiber are subject to bi-directional OTDR testing and each meets the following standards on quality:

  1. Bi-directional attenuation per kilometer: 0.36dB/km @ 1310 nm and 0.22dB/km @ 1550nm
  2. Attenuation per connector on ODF: 0.5dB @ 1310 nm and 0.5dB @ 1550 nm
  3. Bi-directional attenuation per splice: 0.1 dB @ 1310 nm and 0.1 dB @ 1550 nm

The permanent monitoring system for the backbone and main accesses is integrated with the GIS system.
